报告摘要：

    Using a generalization of the two-dimensional paradigm nonlinear Schrodinger equation, the phenomena of modulational instability, collapse, inverse cascade, wave decay, weak and strong turbulence, condensation (self-organization), as well as their control via nonlinear phase modulation are demonstrated in a simple manner.

报告人简介：

郁明阳教授于1971年在密西根大学获得航天工程博士学位, 1973年在于默奥大学获得理论物理博士学位。1973至今在德国鲁尔（Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany）大学理论物理所工作。郁明阳教授的研究领域主要包括基础及非线性等离子体物理，激光与等离子体相互作用，湍流及自组织，磁及惯性约束聚变等。迄今为止，郁明阳教授在国际期刊发表文章超过400篇，所发表论文被引用次数超过10000次，H-index=43。
