报告摘要:

Nanophotonics is the study of the behavior of light on the nanometer scale. It is considered as a branch of optical engineering which deals with the interaction of light with particles or substances, at deeply subwavelength length scales. Technologies in the realm of Nanophotonics include near-field scanning optical microscopy, plasmonics, Metamaterials, and Silicon photonics. This presentation will introduce fundamental research and applications of Nanophotonics in novel photonic devices and systems in optical communication, lighting, and bio-sensing.

报告人简介：

宫永康，英国南威尔士大学无线和光电子研究创新中心讲师。本科毕业于国防科大应用物理系。2006到2011年在中科院西安光机所硕博连读，主要从事微纳光子学方面的研究。博士期间，获得2008年和2009年三好员工、2009年大恒奖学金特别奖、2010年西部奖学金特等奖、2011年中科院“经理奖学金”优秀奖、2012年陕西省优秀博士论文等。2011年9月开始在英国南威尔士大学从事博士后学习，先后参与多个大型欧盟研究项目(例如，Carbon Trust资助的“基于纳米结构的高效OLED”项目, 空客资助的激光无人机项目，以及A4B资助的“新型纳米硅波导研究和制作”项目等)。2015年获得南威尔士大学获得正式教职。到目前为止，申请美国专利一项，发表PRB, APL, OL，OE等国际期刊文章40多篇，文章引用次数1000余次，H因子19.
